Her Story

​Let's just say, Trisha isn't your ordinary baker. One day Trisha was looking for business card templates on her computer, but she didn't know where to find them. So she was just clicking on random things hoping she would find them. Until she came across "Start a Fundraiser." She claims she immediately thought of "Cakes for Cancer" (CFC for short). Cakes for Cancer is when Trisha makes 8 cakes in 8 days. But it doesn't stop there. She would send the picture to a bunch of people through email and people would bid on it. By the end of the day, whoever had the highest bid would win the cake. But the best part about this whole thing is that it was completely selfless. Yes, that's right, ALL the money she made in those 8 days ($434.76) went to a child with cancer and their family.

​So this just goes to show, that no matter how old you are, you can still have a big impact on people's lives.
